  • 240g Venison or Beef Meatballs
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 tbsp Oregano
  • Olive Oil (to fry)
  • 1 Tin Chopped Tomatoes
  • 200g Spagetti
  • Fresh Basil (to garnish)

Directions

Check out my Italian Spaghetti Meatballs Recipe with a difference. Here I use Venison Meatballs, but if you can’t get hold of the venison, simply use beef meatballs in exactly the same way.

  1. Firstly, preheat the oven to 180c then place the Venison Meatballs in for 15-20 minutes in an oven dish.
  2. Meanwhile, finely chop the Onion and Garlic and fry in a saucepan with a little Oil for 5 minutes.
  3. Then add to the saucepan the Chopped Tomatoes and Oregano. Stir the contents of the pan and leave to simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
  4. 10 minutes before the Meatballs and Sauce are ready, prepare the Spaghetti by cooking in boiling water on the hob.
  5. When everything is ready, drain the pasta and serve onto plates. Pour over the Tomato Sauce and serve the Venison Meatballs on top.
  6. Garnish with fresh Basil and enjoy.

Love tomatoes? Try my homemade Salsa Recipe which is great for dipping.
