Spanish Rice Recipe
   Serves: 3 | Prep time: | Cooking time: 680 Calories & 19.5g fat per serving.
  • Rice (200g)
  • Onion (x2)
  • Garlic (x2 cloves)
  • *Optional* Chicken - Grilled
  • Chorizo Sausage (handful)
  • Chicken or Veg Stock Cube (x1)
  • Turmeric (x1 tsp)
  • Cumin (x1 tsp)
  • Oregano (x1 tsp)
  • Olive Oil

Directions

Think rice recipes are boring? Well here's a great recipe for Spanish Rice to really jazz it up! Enjoy as a vegetarian option, or simply add some chicken for a Spanish Chicken and Rice Recipe.

  1. Finely chop the Onion & Garlic and fry for 5 minutes with a little oil.
  2. Now add the Rice, Turmeric, Cumin, Oregano, OXO Cube and 250ml of water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. (if you're vegetarian ignore this part) Whilst simmering, fry the Chicken and slice the Chorizo Sausage. Add the Chicken and Chorizo to the rice 3-4 minutes before it's cooked, then serve.
