Directions

If you're craving something sweet, or a cheeky snack to fill you up, flapjacks never fail! This Flapjack Recipe definitely hits the spot and is really simple to prepare and cook - it's just a case of combining all of the ingredients, then baking in the oven. Follow these directions for the perfect flapjack:

  1. Either in a saucepan or in the microwave, melt the Butter, Peanut Butter and Golden Syrup over a low heat.
  2. Meanwhile, pour the rest of the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl (Crushed Nuts, Sugar, Bicarbonate of Soda, Flour and Oats).
  3. When the Butter, Peanut Butter and Golden Syrup have melted together into a liquid, pour into the bowl of dry ingredients.
  4. Thoroughly mix everything together in the bowl until it's thoroughly combined.
  5. Line an oven dish with greaseproof paper and pour in the Flapjack mixture.
  6. Finally, cook in the oven on 170c for between 25 - 35 minutes (or until the top begins to turn golden and crispy).
